Inspired by chain-gang blues, slave-song howls, murder ballads and bootleg whiskey, Bottle Up & Go is a neoprimitive blues band disrupting the current New York scene. Featuring grating, art-damaged slide guitar work and soaring, scizophrenic horn blasts, their live show has been described as psychedelic, barbaric, and a violent collapse into the embrace of the audience.
The frantic two-piece take whiskey-soaked blues vamps, traditional spirituals and garage rave-ups and filters them through the insanity of our modern age.
This is more than just the blues, it’s depression.
